Day Three & Four - 1770

Nothing terribly exciting to report today.
Just that it is pretty tough all this relaxing and wandering along the beach here In 1770!!!!

So it is a bit of historical trivia for you--

Seventeen Seventy is built on the site of the second landing by James Cook and the crew of HM Bark Endeavour in May 1770.

The weather has stayed fantastic for our time here - and since it had been raining nearly every day before we arrived we are feeling very blessed.

Today we had the most amazing sky.

Tomorrow we leave 1770 - and have decided to head further north to Cape Hillsborough National Park near Mackay for the night.
From there we are going to be driving for few days to Lawn Hill National Park in Outback qld - pretty much on the Norhern Territory border.

By all accounts this should be a major highlight in our travels.
